Hokay. So. Time to move on.
I am grateful for yoga and showers and things that at least get me moving even when I’m feeling funk.
I am thankful for that little burst of determination which got me OUT of the house in an attempt to make it to a place up north before they closed.
I am thankful that even though the place was closed, that dash effectively got me up north, where I needed to be for the rest of my day to play out.
I appreciate the cute little vegan market and the cuter dueña. I wish her business all the success she’s willing to handle.
I am grateful for Kaf Cafe and everything they are. The vegan food, the cute atmosphere. The wifi. The quiet before- The open mic. The talented, creative people at the open mic. The AMAZING poet who performed a piece about not wearing bras if you don’t want to (it was ahmazing). The two guys who performed last with their half singing half poetry collaborations. Everything. I shall return. Often.
I appreciate my friend who joined me for a bit of work and the first part of the performances
I am grateful for the girls who joined my table for the last few performances. We SHALL ago dancing!
I am SO incredibly grateful for the woman who’s article served as the impetus that got me seriously pushing hard for the business side of this whole crazy yea-let’s-move-to-Spain-…-NOW plan. And I am SO so so grateful that she chose to not see my stalking as weird and instead embraced me and my redundant questions, reignigting my determination and convincing me that the fight ain’t over.
I am thankful, in advance, for the fun and crazy story I’m going to have in a month n a half when this all works out perfectly.
I am so, so thankful for Spain, and the wonderful people I’ve met here, and for all of the little perfectly aligned things that served to bring me here. Thank You.
I appreciate sleep.
