I’ve been promising to record since been since, but it hasn’t really happened yet. Why? Because I needed better equipment. I needed a better team. I needed a bigger following. I needed more time. I needed more money. I needed better songs. I needed, I needed, I needed. I needed perfection, and it was as elusive as perfection always is. There was always some reason why I didn’t have my recordings done.
Whale, as the walrus said, ‘The Time Has Come’. I am beginning to realize that there is quite a vast difference between perfect and existent. And frankly, I have a feeling that once I start to actually MAKE music rather than just thinking about it, the resources and opportunities I’ve hoped for will finally be able to find me. So, here we are.
The key words for this endeavor are: Quick and Dirty.
An amazing dude gifted me an H4N audio recorder years back, I have an old Mac, and I have a phone. That’s what I’ve got. We are far from professional over here, but I have to start somewhere. I have to start. So if you’re game and interested in joining me on this crazy journey, I am going to record everything I can think of, weird audio noises, lack of editing skills and all. After that, maybe we can amass some intrigue and remix, remaster and rerelease higher quality recordings. But for now, keep your ears peeled cause I’m going to spit tunes as fast as I can. And if you’re down and not easily bored, I’ll be crafting, practicing and recording what I’ve got live on Twitch. So come on over and lend your input if you like.

He estado prometiendo grabar desde siempre, pero aún no ha sucedido. Por qué? Porque necesitaba equipo mejor. Necesitaba un equipo mejor. Necesitaba más seguidores. Necesitaba más tiempo. Necesitaba más dinero. Necesitaba mejores canciones. Necesitaba, necesitaba, necesitaba. Necesitaba la perfección, y fue tan evasivo como la perfección siempre lo es. Siempre hubo alguna razón por la que no hice mis grabaciones.
Pues, como dijo la morsa, “Ha llegado la hora”. Me estoy dando cuenta de que hay una gran diferencia entre lo perfecto y lo existente. Y, francamente, tengo la sensación de que una vez que empiece a HACER música en lugar de solo pensar en ello, los recursos y las oportunidades que esperaba finalmente podrán encontrarme. Así que, aquí estamos.

Un tío increíble me regaló una grabadora de audio H4N hace años, tengo una Mac vieja y tengo un móvil. Eso es lo que tengo.
